From Fife Free Range Chicken….

TURKEYS - Our very own Free Range Birds. These birds are grown slowly and carefully on acres of lush grass on our farm here. Grown and matured slowly on a natural grain rich diet. They will be fed on a huge variety of different whole grains to enhance their flavour and texture. All our birds are hens which do cost us slightly more but which produce the best breast
meat quality in our opinion. All birds are hung for several days for a more tender meat. Once you have tasted a bird that has been hung you will never eat anything else. More labour intensive but worth it. We plan to produce the birds to sizes ( however please see over) 4, 5, 6, and 7 KG.
Please note we are having our birds hand plucked which pays dividends in taste and texture but which will leave minor “stubble”. Priced at £10.50 per kilo.

CHICKEN - In addition to our usual Corn Fed Free Range Birds we are
producing for Christmas only Extra Large Corn Fed Chicken. These birds
will be raised in spacious and bright barns, with natural light and deep
barley straw beds. They will be offered lots of space with bales to perch
on and toys ( yes you read that right !) to play with. They will be fed
a diet rich in Whole Maize (Corn). This will give the birds fantastic
flavour and a glorious colour. These birds will be slowly grown to
approximately 14 weeks old and we aim ( see over) to grow them to
approximately 4Kg. Priced at £5.50 per Kg.

STUFFED CROWN ROASTS - For a very easy Christmas – little preparation -
just pop them in the oven. Two huge breast fillets from a huge Corn Fed
Free Range Chicken which are rolled and bound together and wrapped round
sage and onion stuffing. Samples of these ( although slightly smaller) can
usually be seen on our Farmer’s Market stalls. Typically ( see over) 2Kg
and priced at £18 per Kg. Turkey Crowns also available -ask for details as
limited numbers.

COLLECTION All orders can be collected directly from us on the 22nd or
23rd of December. If you are calling please telephone us to let us know
you are coming. Please telephone before the 21st. Otherwise we will be at
the area the Framers Market is normally at in the following locations at
the following times on the 22nd for you to collect. If for any reason you

SIZE - Please note that we DO NOT intensively rear our birds under heat.
From 7 weeks old our birds are grown naturally with whatever the weather
throws at them. The final weights of our birds is therefore dependent upon
the weather to a great extent. We cannot guarantee the size of your bird
but will endeavour to be as accurate as we can and to provide a bird
nearest to the size you require.

DEPOSIT - Should you not have collected your bird from us by 6pm on the
23rd. December ( unless otherwise arranged) we reserve the right to sell
the bird elsewhere
