Magazines: did you know that as well as our excellent range of green books we have subscriptions to the following magazines: Permaculture, Velo Vision, Cadeceus, Funky Raw, Green Building, Resurgence, Juno, Ethical Consumer, The Green Parent & Bushcraft. If you get a magazine or journal that you think would be useful to the library, just take it along and leave it there!
People are already using the library and if you are keen this is what you do: Complete a library membership form, you can get these from our website, Louise our Support Worker or you can fill then in at the library, once filled in send them to Louise (her address is on the form). After that, you simply go to Monimail Tower which houses the library and is open for use and have a look at the books and log what you take out and bring back in the log book which is at the Green Library. There are leaflets there with terms and conditions – generally we ask that you don’t take more than 2 books at anyone time and for no longer than 2 weeks.
Book Barter Box:
A wee box has been set up in the Green Library to allow us to pass on any general books we no longer want to other people. Just make sure you don’t mix them up with the Green Library books!
