Pig & Chicken Smallholding Talk – Food Group 20th January
All are welcome to attend the next NHTT Food Group meeting which is taking place on Wednesday 20th January 7.30pm – Collessie Hall – Dan Connelly & Andy McKie will be doing a talk on pig & chicken small holding – feel free to bring along any food items you want to sell or barter. The NHTT Cafe will be there so as we can have a wee brew to keep us warm.
Aready the following have been put forward as ideas for the food group for 2010: a plant sale, Local Food Directory – getting it underway, Community Bulk Buying Scheme up and running, making the Food Workshops we talked about in 2009 happen, locally reared pig on a spit event, community owned animals, please bring your other ideas to the group meeting on the 20th.
