The original idea here was to have a community bakehouse where people from the community could take their bread to bake or indeed get together as a community for baking events. At the local food group meeting on 26th April it was decided that a sub group would be the best way to take this foward to get interested parties together to discuss the idea of a bakehouse. A community bakery is something quite a few people are interested in and 79% of those surveyed last year said they would support a local bakery so this is something we will be talking about.
