The events group are busy planning an event to mark the end of the current CCF funding period and look forward to what we as a group and a community hope to achieve next. The event will be held in Letham Village Hall on Saturday 26 February and as well as talking about the more resilient future we all hope to see over the next decade there will be a big emphasis on fun. There will be a children’s workshop hosted by Moving Sounds which will run from 3.15-5.30pm to keep the children entertained all afternoon. Those of us who attended the Transition Gathering in November were blown away by the guys from Moving Sounds and are really looking forward to seeing them again. A delicious supper is planned followed by some more Moving Sounds entertainment for all us. The day will be finished off with a ceilidh with the Transition Tavern in residence in the back hall.
