With the latest CCF funding bid not coming through for us we are now looking at new ways of taking our ideas forward. As a reminder, NHTT are currently interested in developing ideas about:
- Wood-fuel strategy with local landowners and fuel users
- Heat recovery from landfill site
- Biomass district heating system for Collessie
- Community owned Wind turbine project
This is a crucial stage in the development of sustainable energy services for our area, so if you are interested in a future with a secure energy supply with the possibility of local employment, we would encourage you to come along to our meetings, we have a small group of enthusiastic locals, but need to expand our group.
