Over the next 18 months North Howe Transition Toun will be running a wide range of environmental improvement projects in your area, mainly on the themes of food, transport and energy, funded by the Climate Challenge Fund.

In order to find out what could benefit the community the most, we  have been carrying out a survey during October and November 2009. This has asked questions about our areas households and what opportunities you might be interested in to reduce our community’s impact on the environment and improve its quality of life.

The survey is now closed but if you would still like to take part please get in touch with Louise and she can arrange for one of our survey team to come out to your home at a suitable time.

How will the survey work?

The survey should be easy to complete and take less than half an hour. Our survey team will distribute free energy saving light DSCN0247bulbs and powerdown switches during the surveys and you will be able to request a Smart Monitor. All the information you give us will be held confidentially with the correct data protection. Our survey team have been carefully chosen and will be carefully managed by the project team, led by Neil Stoddart.

Please take 5 minutes to prepare:

One of our questions will be about how much you spend on energy. It would be very helpful if you thought about this before we visit, or looked out any bills for electricity, gas, oil, etc that you have paid over the last year. Our Energy Group
