Would you like to reduce the costs of driving and help to improve local air quality?

Car clubs provide a pool of cars that can be booked out for periods as short as an hour, at affordable rates. For people who drive less than 6-8,000 miles per year, this can be a cheaper option than running a car.

Interested in learning more? Then come along to Cupar YMCA at 7:30pm on Thursday 9th June at the YMCA. Sustainable Cupar and Carplus are holding an event where you can find out more about how car clubs work, hear about the car club recently established in Anstruther, and discuss whether one would be feasible in Cupar.

Refreshments will be provided.

The Shelter is progressing well with Becky spending lots of time sharing her knowledge with the community.  She gave a fascinating talk and slide show on Wednesday 11th in Letham Hall and the Community Open Day on Saturday 14th went well with many of the school children coming back for more.

We hope that the walls will be up in the first week in June (weather permitting!)
