There is also additional information on The Apple press project.

Please note there has been a change in venue for the Apple Press meeting. The meeting will now be held in the Monimail Tower Project Garden. This can be accessed via doorway in wall across the road from Monimail Village Green. There will be a sign up to point you in the right direction.

FREE EVENT!

You are invited to attend this exciting event on Sat 13 June,
3.30pm onwards. This is an opportunity to learn more about
the Climate Challenge Fund Award and how this will benefit
our North Howe communities and find out what the projects
are and how we might take these forward.
The event is free and open to all residents from the NHTT
area which covers the Community Council Areas of Giffordtown,
Monimail and Collessie. We encourage you to come along.

Provisional Programme for the Day
• 3.30pm onwards Information. display boards, networking – with teas and cake. Meet the
People in the Local Food, Energy, Transport, Events and Coordination Action
Groups. Find out about the projects and how to get involved.

• 5.pm AGM What is a Community Interest Company and why would we want one?
NHTT is re-constituting as a CIC and is recruiting directors for the company
from the active membership.

• 5.30pm Buffet supper. An array of locally made and grown foods will be supplied by
the Local Food Action Group and a free drink from the Transition Tavern.
Sample McLuckie Ales from Dunshalt and local Wines.

• 6.30pm Short presentation on the 12 steps of Transition. Where have we got to?

• 7.00pm Music and Social

Part-time PROJECT MANAGER – Ref PM01
Now until 2011 – 3 hours per week, £30 per hour
We are looking for a self-motivated strategic Project Manager to support and advise our community teams to deliver a range of projects from the very practical to the highly conceptual as specified by our Climate Challenge Fund award. You will provide comprehensive project management ensuring delivery of specified projects in accordance with timelines and budgets.

Part time SUPPORT WORKER – Ref SW01
Now until 2011 – 10.5 hours per week, £15 per hour
This post will provide comprehensive administrative support to the Project Manager.

For both positions: Own laptop and office base preferred. You will be required to travel throughout the North Howe area and to attend meetings out of office hours. For further details please contact Hayley Mills on 01337 810342
